SIGN OUR PUBLIC PETITION

TELL OMCA: STOP BREAKING THE LAW — BARGAIN IN GOOD FAITH NOW

We, the workers and community supporters of the Oakland Museum of California, call on Museum leadership to end its unlawful and unethical delay tactics.

OMCA has refused to move forward on bargaining over wages and economic issues until employees agree to management’s position on who should or should not be allowed to be eligible for union membership. This is not only wrong, but also unlawful. Workers have been forced to file an Unfair Labor Practice charge against the Museum in order to compel management to follow the law.

The Museum’s behavior is in bad faith, and it disrespects both the staff who make the Museum thrive and the community that depends on OMCA as a cultural anchor.

We demand that OMCA’s leadership return to the bargaining table immediately and negotiate economics in good faith.
